Eduardo Maximiano Sánchez Cervantes is a distinguished researcher at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL), with a PhD in Chemistry from Arizona State University. He specializes in materials for rechargeable batteries and nanocrystalline solar cells. As a professor-researcher, he leads the UANL-327 Consolidated Academic Body and has created the Materials Laboratory II. He has published numerous articles in high-impact journals, highlighting contributions in “Nature” and “Chemical Society Reviews”. He has been recognized with level III of the National System of Researchers (SNI) in Mexico, and has received the UANL Research and Innovation Award on several occasions. With more than 2,800 citations and an h-index of 27, he has been an advisor for more than 50 undergraduate, master's and doctoral theses to date.
